This policy describes how FinWorld (“the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your information.
1. What we collect
FinWorld collects only the data needed to run the financial-literacy game and let you keep playing across devices.
- Account information — email address, display name and profile picture obtained when you sign in with Google or create an email/password account.
- In-game data — your progress in the simulation: cash balance, savings balance, owned stocks, owned cars and properties, board-game state, completed tasks, championship nickname and country code, language and market preference, and similar non-sensitive game state. Stored locally on your device and in Cloud Firestore so you can resume on another device.
- Purchase records — when you subscribe via Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit, we store the subscription tier and expiry date. The actual payment is handled entirely by Google or Apple; we never see your card details.
- Diagnostic data — anonymous crash reports and usage analytics collected by Firebase Crashlytics / Firebase Analytics so we can fix bugs and improve the app.
FinWorld does not collect: contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera input, precise location, SMS or browsing history.
2. How we use the data
- Show you the right game state when you sign in.
- Sync your progress between devices.
- Verify and renew your subscription.
- Improve stability and fix crashes.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
3. Third-party services
We rely on these services to deliver the app. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy

- Google Play Billing for subscriptions — play.google.com/about/play-terms
- Apple StoreKit for subscriptions on iOS — apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes
4. Children
FinWorld is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
5. Data retention and deletion
- In-game data is kept while your account is active.
- You can sign out at any time from the Profile screen.
- To delete your account and all associated data, contact hronnkaro@gmail.com with the email used to sign in. We will delete the account, the Firestore document and any cached data within 30 days.
6. Security
We use TLS in transit and Firebase's built-in encryption at rest. Subscription validation happens on Google or Apple infrastructure.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be announced inside the app the next time you open it.
